The Clos de l’Abbaye is a single vineyard of an half-hectare against the estate and was planted in 1956 in Chardonnay. The Clos is worked using environment friendly approach and produce very low yields (30/40hl). The warmer micro climat produced grapes of exceptional maturity and character. The unique location on a chalky soil gives an atypical taste to this cuvée. The wine is then 100% vinified in oak barrels. This a very rare and exclusive hampagne produced at only 1,500 bottles per year.
