  • Marc Hébrart

Established in 1960 by Marc Hébrart, this champagne grower has, since 1997, been under the direction of his son Jean-Paul. The 14 hectares of vineyard are spread across the two banks of the river Marne: in the sector of Mareuil, Avenay, Val d’Or and Bisseuil on the right bank, and Oiry and Chouilly, grands crus of the côte des Blancs, on the left bank. Marc Hébrart practices reasoned viticulture, keeping chemical treatments to the strict minimum on these vines. Each parcel is vinified separately  in glass lined stainless steel and ceramic tanks to preserve their individual personalities. Wines of Marc Hébrart are sold today in many restaurants including five 3 star restaurants.

  • Maurice Grumier

In the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, winegrowers since 1743, the Grumier family has elaborated champagne since 1928. The philosophy of Grumier is quite simple: the greatest wealth is the terroir, which must be respect and keep alive. The viticulture adheres to a spirit of sustainable development, in which every individual plot is managed with the greatest possible care. This spirit can also be found in the cellars where the vinification takes place in oak barrels and small, stainless steel vats to preserve the unique style of each parcel of vines. Note that Fabien Grumier who is today running the domain was elected best young talent of Champagne in 2013. More information at: www.champagne-grumier.com

  • René Geoffroy

The Geoffroy family have been winemakers since the seventeenth century and the property has stayed in the family for almost 400 years, uninterrupted. In addition to prime parcels in Cumières, the family has holdings in Damery, Hautvillers, and Dizy. They aim for the highest possible quality and ferment the wines in oak. The wines don’t go through malolactic fermentation, which gives them the nerve and aging potential that most Cumières Champagnes lack (because of a warmer micro climat). When you talk to the well-educated Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy, you understand that this is a family that cares passionately about wine.

  • Benoît Déhu

A single plot and a single grape variety: Meunier. The vinification and aging take place in oak barrels only with minimal intervention. The vineyard is managed with emphasis on respecting nature and following organic and biodynamic principles (conversion was finalized with vintage 2014). Since 2013, we have been using our own barrels, made in Champagne with wood from our Meilleray forest. Several cuvées stem from the same plot: Champagne Cuvée la Rue des Noyers, Coteau Blanc and Coteau Rouge la Rue des Noyers. You will be amazed by the wines’ multifaceted aromas and notes, anchored in the terroir’s characteristic minerality. Because Benoit’s work goes hand in hand with gastronomy, the wines will prove a great match for a precise and complex gastronomic cuisine and can also be appreciated by the glass.
